It is indeed with great pleasure and conviction I recommend (Ms. Anna Mathews) to pursue her (Doctoral Studies). I have been associated with the (Department of English) for the past (20 years) and in that course of time have had the opportunity to interact and assess many students who have passed through the portals of this Department.
I have been in contact with (Ms. Anna Mathews) ever since she enrolled for her (Masters in Literature) (two years back). From day one, she has come across as a very hardworking and intelligent student, who did not hesitate to put in that bit of extra effort to stand out among her contemporaries. She is highly motivated and her apparent enthusiasm and interest in the subject is supported by her diligent work. She has always shown an extraordinary sense of perception of the subjects, and has made a difference to the classes with her insightful remarks during the (Group Discussion sessions) which are a part of the course curriculum. In all her course activities, her grades have been above average and she stands in the top 2% of her class.
(Ms. Anna Mathews) actively participated in extra-curricular activities also. She was an active member of the (Dramatics Club, the Poetry Club and also represented the English Department in Inter-Department Tennis Matches). On inter-personal level too, (Ms. Anna Mathews) has endeared herself to her class-mates with her kind and compassionate nature.
I strongly recommend (Ms. Anna Mathews) for pursuing her (Doctoral Studies) as I am sure she would be an asset to any Department or University that she joins.
