Bill Garrison, a friend since medical school, called me a few days ago to inform me that your group is considering taking on a new general practitioner. Based on his suggestion and my respect for Spander & Associates Medical Care, I am enclosing my resume for your review.

As my resume indicates, I have been a GP at Lifecare Health Corporation for several years. I would prefer to be in a group practice even though working for Lifecare has provided me with a breadth of experience as a physician and a team member. I am proud of my accomplishments as chair of the committee to improve Lifecare’s process for referral to specialists when needed, and of course, also proud that my caseload blossomed due to patient referrals.
