Decline Letters

Decline letter is written to decline the offer, proposal or invitation from an individual. The letter needs to formal. The letter can be written from one company to another on rejecting the proposal or business deal.

Special care should be taken while drafting the letter. It should not be casual

Whether the letter written is for the close associate or not, the letter should be polite in tone.

Write the reason declining the proposal and if one is not comfortable writing the reason, it can be left out altogether or some other acceptable reason may be cited

The letter should be short and concise. Letter should thank the recipient in showing the interest in offer or proposal.

Decline letters can end with the sender expressing sorrow for not being able to accept whatever it is that was offered.
