Hello,
I’m writing to officially protest any further coverage of <team name> in <publication name>. Simply said, I feel that <team name> are just too lousy to justify taking up valuable column inches covering each inevitable loss. If I may suggest an alternative, try replacing your <team name> coverage with a story on sports that don’t receive a lot of press: fly fishing, tractor pulls, sheep shearing, lawn bowling, and so on. You can put the <team name> news on the back page where it won’t get in the way. And if things improve and they start winning, I wouldn’t have a problem with them going back on Page One. I hope you’ll find this helpful.
Regards,
Robert Anderson
