In response to your recent Internet advertisement for a pediatric dentist, I am enclosing my resume for your review.

As you can see from my resume, I have several years of experience treating patients, the last few of which were in a small group practice in California. My patient base grew 20% in one year due to patient referrals. I have also been honored by the American Society of Pediatric Dentists for research on gum disease in children.

You may be asking why I want to leave my current group practice. Let me explain that neither my wife nor I enjoy living in Southern California nearly as much as we enjoyed Pennsylvania, our home state.
