As you recommended in our phone conversation yesterday, I am enclosing a resume for your review. I very much appreciated your willingness to speak with me and can say that the more I learn of the Quebec City Orchestra, the more I would like to be a part of your organization.

My resume indicates several of the reasons I would be a good match for the orchestra: my experience teaching and playing professionally with bands and orchestras, my knowledge of music composition and my fluency in French.

Also of interest is that I began playing French Horn at age 7 and began learning the trumpet a few years later. In fact, music has been the cornerstone of my life since childhood.

I would very much enjoy living in Quebec, where I have travelled on several occasions, and I hope to hear from you in the near future.
