A friend of mine in Mission Viejo sent me your advertisement for the position of mathematical statistician now available at your company. As requested, I am enclosing my resume, as well as some reference letters.
As my resume indicates, my entire background has been in math and statistics, mostly in the Southern California area. Other than teaching math while earning my Ph.D. in Statistical Mathematics, I have been involved in research. In addition, I am the co-developer of the popular “StatMax” software for statistical analyses and a frequent national speaker.
I believe that these credentials, together with my desire to return to Southern California, make me a strong candidate for Colby Research’s mathematical statistician position.
