In response to your recent advertisement for an executive chef in the Eugene Tribune, I am enclosing my resume and two reference letters.
As you can see from my resume, I am certified by the American Culinary Federation as an executive chef and have served in that capacity since leaving my position as head cook in the U.S. Army. Since I became the executive chef at Navarro Restaurant, business has increased by 35%. Gourmet Magazine has also featured some of my recipes.
Although I enjoy my current position, I would like to move to a cooler, greener climate, and Eugene is a city I have enjoyed during my travels. Given my qualifications and goals, I believe I would be an asset to Hansen’s Fine Cuisine.
