As you know I have done lot many projects for your company from last two years. I have always enjoyed working with your firm. Currently I am handling ABC Project
You are aware that I have always finished my work on time and you never had any complains from me, however this time I was suppose to finish the project by 30th June, but due to labor strike I am not unable to finish the project. I request you to give me the permission to extend the project deadline one month more.
I am sorry for the inconvenience that will cause to you. I am sure you understand my situation and grant me the permission to submit the work at a later date.
