11th August 2010,
Mr. James Douglas
St.John’s High School,
15th Lane Street
Hyderabad.
Respected Sir,
I am Joseph Sander studying in 9th class ‘A’ section bearing roll number 56. As we are having an important religious festival coming on 19th August 2010, I may not attend the classes. I am writing this letter for requesting you to grant me a leave for two days that is on 19th August 2010 to 20thAugust 2010.
This is an important festival to our family, and all our family members will get together for this. During this time it will not be possible for me to attend the classes, so I will take help of teachers and friends to catch up the work in advance so that I can do that work at home in the evenings and avoid interruption to my education. Hopefully permission will be granted and so that I can enjoy our religious festival with my family. Please grant me leave for these two days, I will be thankful to you.
Thanking you.
Yours Sincerely,
Joseph Sander
