Dear Friends,
You must have read about our organization, Uzhaippavar Ulagam in the recent newspapers. We were drawn to the sad plight of the Kanchipuram weavers this year and decided to raise funds to support their cause this time. We have planned a carnival with lots of fun and games on November 14, Children’s Day.
You will be doing a great service to the poor weavers by taking part in this event actively. A ticket for this carnival will cost Rs. 400/- and children under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge. The entire proceeds will go towards the cause.
For those of you who are not familiar with our organization, Uzhaippavar Ulagam works for the upliftment of the labourers and hardworking poor in various ways. The supporters can join us in our functions and outings, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes from being a part in bringing happiness to others.
