Credit letter is written to ask for credit from one company to other company for business purpose or for personal purpose. This letter is written in professional manner and is kept for future records.

Credit letter is important as the purpose and argument is judged for granting the credit.

The reason given for applying for the credit needs to be reasonable. And the entire document supporting your application should be authentic, documents like bank account, financial condition, current loans and debts and so on must be clearly put forward in the credit letter.

The amount of credit needed and the purpose for which it is needed must be included. More importantly, why the recipient should consider extending financial help to the sender must be mentioned as well.

Incorrect information letter can result into rejection of application
