Dear Mr. Gidh,
I read the advertisement in your paper about your job vacancies and I would like to apply as a newspaper correspondent. I believe that I fit the requirements of a newspaper correspondent well. I have attached my resume for your perusal.
I am a Journalism graduate from an esteemed institution in the country. I graduated with honors and was also recognized by the university for being a consistent reprentative of the school in various writing competitions. My thesis was also selected as one of the outstanding thesis in the school. I was editor-in-chief of the school paper for two years before I graduated. Aside from this, I have attended several trainings on journalism and writing workshops. These have helped me prepare well for a career in journalism and I wish to contribute my skills to your company.
Thank you and I hope for your positive response.
Sincerely,
Ms. Advika Chitturu
