As an experienced tour guide with a special interest in Europe, I have been reading about the expansion of EuroTours in the Western States. Although I haven’t seen specific advertisements for travel guide positions, I wanted to let you know of my qualifications and my desire to be a EuroTours guide. I have therefore enclosed both a resume and two letters of reference.
As you can see from my resume, I have an A.A. in European History. Since receiving this degree, I have completed courses in Art History and French. As a guide, I have experience leading tours in the U.S. and Europe. However, given my educational background and personal interests, I far prefer guiding European trips. I am comfortable leading both general and special-interest tours and consistently receive high satisfaction ratings from those in my groups.
