I feel fortunate to have had the quality training I received during this time. Unfortunately, when I completed my apprenticeship, there were no dispensing optician positions available. I therefore took a position at Cahill Optometry Services where I have enjoyed the work and performed well. I continue to keep abreast of new findings in the field through journal articles and workshops.
