I would hereby like to announce my resignation from the post of senior faculty at New York Institute of Science. Please consider this my official resignation letter. My resignation will take place on 6th September. This date leaves me sufficient time to complete my ongoing research and hand over my responsibilities to my successor.
While working at your institute was a lucrative opportunity for me, I would like to take up an offer to pursue my interest in wildlife and accept a position in a wildlife expedition. I would like to thank you for this opportunity to grow in my preferred field and reach the position I am in today. I greatly appreciate all that you have done for me on both a professional and personal front.
